The crying scene in "something's gotta give" is one of my favorite scenes ever. But apart from that, I have always remembered a line from that movie and in the last (almost) 11 months it has really sunk in. I am paraphrasing...
Harry (Jack Nicholson) is talking to Erica (Diane Keaton) about divorce and asks how she does at night. She mentions that she needs less sleep and also that "you have to sleep in the middle of the bed."
I get that. You get used to having a body in bed with you. A presence. A sometimes snoring presence but a presence nonetheless. I go back and forth with which side I sleep on depending on my housing situation and whether or not cam and I are sharing a room, but I try to always sprawl a little...because I can.
