I like the idea of this…so I'm participating. Today is day 5 of my #100happydays. I'm posting them on my instagram @molldawg2Every day there is something to be happy about. I'm hoping that it is hard to choose at the end of the day what I should post a picture of because there are so many happy options. In the fall of 2001, my senior year, I did a gratefulness journal (years before Oprah proposed this idea, by the way) with Dr. Snyder as an independent study in order to graduate early. He created this for me for that extra hour I needed (thanks, sir!). It was amazing how it changed my focus to come up with 5 different things every single day to be grateful for. Focusing on the positives around us can be a challenge when you feel like you are trudging along in the trenches, but happy is still there in the mud!
